With over thirty-five years of experience utilizing all types of building materials and expertise spanning all areas of concrete, pavers, and masonry construction, RHCI minimizes the number of subcontractors to manage by self performing a majority of the work, while providing the most integrated design solution. We have been able to consistently deliver on our reputation for uncompromising quality in whatever aspect our clients need us to perform.
On-Time Construction is a must in today's environment, here at RHCI we appreciate the fact that time is money...especially to our customers. That's why on-time opening schedules and turnover dates must be met. We draw on our wealth of project experience, computerized project management, scheduling systems, and diligence from the project managers to ensure the project is delivered on-time.

Meet the team
Rick HammPresident and CEO
With more than 35 years of construction experience, Rick has accumulated extensive industry knowledge – particularly in the residential and commercial concrete trades. As President and CEO for Rick Hamm Construction, Inc., Richard Hamm is the sole qualifier for its licenses (LICENSES HELD: B-1, C-8, C21, C29, C53).
Rick’s vast experience has positioned him as a great resource in the field of construction and is in fact a licensed ‘Expert Witness for the State of California – Contractors State License Board’. He is a hands-on-leader that actively participates in project bidding, construction and quality control.
Rick credits his faith and his family’s support (all of whom in his immediate family are employed at RHCI) for his private and professional success.
Llana HammChief Financial Officer
The old saying "Behind every great man there's an even greater woman" doesn't accurately apply to the CFO of RHCI, CEO Ricks' wife and high-power teammate Llana Hamm. We'd rather say: "BESIDE every great man there's an equally great woman."
In addition to her role as the steward of RHCI finances, Llana has served as full-partner and hands-on manager for every project undertaken with husband Rick Hamm since their first in 1977. Llana also manages the administration staff, and offers key strategic insight into the marketing vision of the company.
Ricky HammChief Estimator/Project Manager
Ricky began his career at Rick Hamm Construction, Inc. washing parts at the age of 14. He hung around his dad to soak up as much as he could through the years. “He's got a wealth of knowledge that he's divulging it to me day by day”.
Since those days helping out, Ricky has matured into a key player at RHCI. He’s taken courses in project management to expand his knowledge base, has spent close to five years in the field learning the business in real time applications. It’s made him a better estimator and project manager. He is actively involved with all operations of the company to facilitate successful completion of projects on budget, on schedule while ensuring that RHCI services consistently exceed our client’s expectations.
As Controller, Janice Affee is responsible for directing and managing RHCI’s daily and long-term financial, administrative and information technology efforts based upon company goals and budgets.
She also oversees all contractual issues, sub-contractor qualification, and is instrumental in shaping the business structure and competencies that support our success. Janice has a special working relationship with Rick and Llana Hamm which is evidenced in being RHCI most tenured employee. With over 25 years experience in the industry and direct with RHCI she is a valuable asset to the organization.
Brieanna Hamm-SuchodolskiOffice Manager
Brieanna Suchodolski, daughter of founder Rick Hamm, is well accustomed to being around construction. Brieanna has many years experience handling several accounting functions for the company. These range from certified payrolls, accounts payable & receivables, and general office administration.
She is at the heart of our small, efficient office, able to rationally manage a tremendous amount of information using the sophisticated accounting and monitoring systems that are a hallmark of our operation.
Erik DexterOperations Manager
Erik focuses on the residential division at RHCI. He oversees all essential field employees, as well as construction schedules, to ensure that all projects contracted with RHCI are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality available in the industry.
John SartiLead Superintendent
John oversees the company’s Field Crews in the concrete division. He also develops and manages project schedule coordination of concrete crews, materials and equipment. With over 30 years of construction experience in Southern California, John brings RHCI a vast amount of experience in development and implementation of project schedules on large, multi-phased commercial projects.
